Wilson Garage

The 230,000 sq. ft. Wilson garage was opened on March 14, 1976 and is located on the west side of Transit Rd. north of Wilson Ave.  It has indoor storage facilities as well as staging area in front of the garage and 2 fuelling facilities for diesel and 1 for compressed natural gas (CNG).  There are 2 wash racks, a Eurovac system, 11 40-foot hoists, 3 60-foot hoists, and 4 inspection pit stations.  Its vehicles can be found on routes: 6, 7, 14, 29, 32 (split with Queensway), 33, 47, 52 (split with Queensway), 58, 59, 60 (split with Arrow Rd.), 61, 63, 78, 90, 98, 104, 105, 107, 109, 115, 117, 125, 126, 142, 160, 161, 193, 196, 307 (split with Queensway), 310, 316, 320 (split with Eglinton), 329 and 352. Currently, it houses 89 GM New Looks (T6H-5307N), 50 1996 Orion Vs, and 180 Orion VII.  The 1996 Orion Vs are lift-equipped accessible buses and can usually be found on routes: 14, 29, 125 and 329, while Orion VIIs are low floor and can be found on routes: 7, 47, 60, 61, 63, 98, 105, 109, 161, 310, 316 and 320. Since the summer of 2005, the Orion V and VII buses have been equipped with bike racks.
